There were units in Grand Island, Nebraska in the 1960's and we are working details on that unit history. Additionally, in the 1980's there was a unit in Lincoln named the ALLEN M. SUMNER DIVISION which then became the LINCOLN SQUADRON.

On October 1, 2011, the LINCOLN SQUADRON Unit Code 072LIN was disestablished along with NEBRASKA 739 BATTALION Unit Code 072NEB and merged together. The units then formed the CORHUSKER DIVISION, Unit Code 072HKR.

On September 17th, 2022, John & Tracy Brummer have taken over the running of the Cornhusker Division of Sea Cadets. Our hope is to bring more knowledge about the program to the Central part of Nebraska.
